2023 Driver Line Up 🏁🏎

2023 Should be an exciting year for the Anglo Team with 3 x Rookies Competing in the NSW Formula Ford Kent Class Championship 🏆

Allow us to introduce this years Anglo Drivers:

Kiarra Jones - @kiarrajonesracing

Kiarra showed great potential in the 2022 Championship and now joins the Anglo Team competing in our Spirit chassis Kent Class Race Car.

During her first Test Day at Sydney Motorsport Park Kiarra took 3 seconds off her PB Lap Time!

Huge progress and it is clear that she is feeling comfortable in the car.

During Round 1 of the 2023 Championship at Winton Raceway Kiarra continued to impress, not only in Qualifying but also securing her first Podium! She went on to finish 2nd🥈 overall for the Weekend and it goes to show that persistence, a killer attitude and hard work really does pay off! 🏁🏎 

Tommy Kalamakis - @tommykalamakis

This will be the first year that Tommy competes in any form of Motorsport and boy is he one to watch!

Making the transition from Sim to Real World Racing Tommy did not hold back.

It's not very often that a Driver can stick it on Pole and then Win their very first Race 🥇

During Race 2 Tommy showed incredible Race Craft, battling with a much more experienced Driver for the Lead on every Lap just loosing out at the end to finish P2. 👏

Tommy cruised around to bring home P1 in Race 3 which resulted in him securing the overall Win for Round 1 and is leading the Points heading into Round 2 at Sydney Motorsport Park! 🙌

Christian Raad - @christian_raad 

Christian is no stranger to the Race Track, he has completed Races in other Categories but this will be his first time competing in a Championship.

Choosing Formula Ford as his next step, Christian is keen to master the techniques of how to drive an open-wheel car which are very different to the 'tin-top' style cars that he is used to.

Winton Raceway was quite challenging for Christian who struggled to get into a rhythm in the intense heat. Despite this he should be extremely proud of his efforts and in securing P3 overall when the weekend was all said and done 🥉

NSW Formula Ford Round 2 will take place at Sydney Motorsport Park

Friday 14th - Sunday 16th April 2023
